Director - Jason Carter

Studied acting at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Since graduating in 1981, he has pursued his craft, working extensively in British theatre, television and film before landing in America in 1991.

Jason played leads with a variety of great directors. In British theater: repertory seasons at Chichester and Southampton; plays at the Royal Court, Edinburgh Festival; three different shows in the West End and one at the Royal National Theatre of Great Britain. In British television: he starred in two series, a mini series, a number of TV movies and played numerous guest star roles on other series. Always with an eye for directing Jason has collaborated with many directors developing characters, evolving scenes and playing the camera.  He worked closely with Jason Lehel whilst starring in ‘Boiling Point’ and with Nick Ward who directed him in Working Title’s ‘Dakota Road’. This film was selected for competition in the Festival of British Film for which Jason received a commendation for his performance from the chairman of the judges Ben Kingsley.

In America Jason guest starred in ‘Beverley Hills 90210’, ‘Lois and Clarke’, ‘3rd Rock From The Sun’ and a host of other popular series. He developed a following for his portrayal of Marcus Cole in the science fiction series ‘Babylon Five’ and made many independent films. While starring in their films Jason worked closely with directors who valued his input. Gil Cates JR. on  ‘The Mesmerist’, Scott Mabbut on ‘Dixon Maison’ and most recently Jeff Burton on ‘Dead End Road’ Jason has been teaching acting and improvisation for three years.
